spheropack.analysis.neighbor_pairs(packing, cutoff)

All pairs closer than cutoff (centre to centre).

Returns:

• i, j – Indices with i < j, shape (m,). A pair appears once per periodic image within the cutoff.

• r – Connecting vectors from i to the image of j, shape (m, dim).

Parameters:

• packing (Packing)

• cutoff (float)

Return type:

tuple[ndarray, ndarray, ndarray]
